Can anyone out there recommend a really good resource book on typography? I don’t just need a book that looks pretty on my coffee table— I need something that’s going to give me points on spacing and composition of text (specifically as it relates to advertising).
Looking for an actual, physical book (so retro! But really), not a website. Price is maybe an issue, but it depends on how AWESOME the book is. All caps.
